It is heartbreaking that Lucy has been called home, and she will be missed greatly. Helping to reduce the sadness is knowing that Aunt Lucy, Uncle Jack, my father Chuck and mother Dot are once again together smiling upon us all. Thoughts and prayers are with the entire family.

Lucy was my Grandmother, and what a Grandmother she was indeed. Visiting her and Papa Jack when I was young was such a treat. Every visit began with a greeting filled with all the love, joy, and good food I can handle. During the days I would play in the pool with my brother and cousins while she and Papa Jack would watch lovingly from the porch or kitchen window.
In the evening she would make the best dinners imaginable. My favorite was her spaghetti which I fear will never have an equal in this world. After dinner we would play cards and she would share advice that only a grandmother could provide to her grandson.
Mama Lucy was a beautiful soul. She would make sure everyone was taken care of and felt the joy and love that she had for them. I will miss her dearly, but I am happy that she is with Papa Jack in heaven. Love you Mama
