Gearld J. Lynch
Gearld J. Lynch, 78, of Charleston, passed away, September 25, 2016.
Gearld was a longtime member and trustee at Bethel Chapel Church. He retired from General Electric Apparatus Shop.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John J. and Mildred Lanham Lynch; son, Gearld Frank Lynch; daughter, Beth Oates-Zimmer; brothers, Roger Lee Lucas, and Edsel Lynch; sister; Marilyn Shelton.
Surviving are; his wife of 58 years, Jean Lynch; children, Debra Lynch, Diana Casdorph, and Michael Todd Lynch, wife, Angie; brothers, Carroll Lynch, Thad "Buzzy" Boggess, Jinky Lynch, John Roy Lynch, and Charles Clay Lynch; sisters, Virginia Legg, Carolyn Holley, Gladys Mullins, and Angela Harless; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m., Thursday, September 29, at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, Charleston, with the Rev. Ray Belcher officiating. Burial will be in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
