Robert Griffith went home to be with the Lord September 8, 2016.
He was survived by his wife and love of this life Leota, sisters, Isabelle Smith of Charleston, Patricia Marcum of Holly Hills, Florida, sons, Bobby, Charlie, Billy, Timmy and wife Tricia, daughters, Sharon and Jackie, 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
He was a lifelong resident of Charleston, a U.S. Army Veteran and retired from the Charleston Fire Department after 30 years of service. Family was the most important thing in his life.
Funeral Services will be 7:00 PM Tuesday September 13, 2016 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Hesson officiating. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Kanawha Charleston Humane Association, 1248 Greenbrier Street, Charleston, WV 25311.
